JVC, have been bringing HD quality to the
consumer camcorder market longer than anyone
else. Their track record includes the world's first
consumer camcorder offering Full HD 1920x1080
recording and equipped with FUJINON HD Lens.
And now history repeats itself as JVC brings to you
the world's first consumer camcorders equipped
with 1080/50P Output to maximize your HD viewing
experience. JVC offers innovation in real terms,
again. Because JVC sees the world through your
eyes.

Using the same technology as DynaPix HD displays, this world's first for camcorders outputs a 1080 scanning line image at progressive 50fps so you can enjoy uncompromising picture quality on a TV that accepts 1080P input. With progressive, the jaggy diagonals you'd get with interlace images are smoothed out.

The output signal features a wider colour space through application of the xvYCC colour standard, known as x.v.Colour™. This universal standard provides more accurate colour reproduction with more detail and more shades. Among the colours that the human eye is capable of perceiving, x.v.Colour™ can display 100% of them whereas the traditional (sRGB) system can only display approx. 55%.

In the FHD mode, video is recorded at a high bit rate of 26.6 Mbps average. Compared to other systems using a lower bit rate, the resulting image offers higher quality with clearer visible details.
